Landmark MoveNote Presentation

This week we will finish our Landmark presentation and turn it into a MoveNote.

1) Log-into Google Drive and open your Landmark presentation.

2) Finish your presentation and Download it as a PDF (save to Drive).

3) Export from Drive to MoveNote.

4) Create a MoveNote presentation.

5) Click HERE to copy paste the link of your completed MoveNote presentation.

Old Portland MoveNote

This week we will finish our Old Portland info books and turn them into a MoveNote presentation.

1) Log-into Google Drive.

2) Open and finish your Old Portland presentation.

3) Download it as a PDF and save to your Drive.

4) Export your PDF presentation to MoveNote.

5) Record your presentation of your information book.

Rock Poem

This week we will start writing a rock poem that will be a part of a class collection of Rock Poems..

Weather Webcams

This week we will explore different webcams around the state of Oregon. We will explore visually and note the weather data to compare two different areas in the state.

Tour Builder

This week we'll continue working on our Tour Builder tours, and we will share them with our classmates.

1) Click HERE to go to Tour Builder and log-in.

2) Open your tour and work on completing the tour (Wade and Robbins-States; Black-Capt. Cook's voyages).

3) Click HERE to access a shared spreadsheet. Paste the share link for your presentation into the spreadsheet next to your name.

4) Click to visit and learn from your classmates' tours.

This week, we will be researching the Old Portland topic that students selected last week.

Landmark Presentation

This week we will work on creating a digital presentation about the landmark students have been researching the past few weeks. We will create a Google Presentation and then turn it into a MoveNote video/audio presentation.

1) Log-into Google Apps and create a new Google Presenatation.

2) Title your presentation and add 5 slides.

Slide 2-Location (Google Map or Earth image copied and pasted)

Math Fluency Check-In and Practice

This week we will review math fluency practice websites, and complete several different activities to help improve basic math fact fluency.

FP Weather Station


This week we will learn about the Weatherbug weather station and the online school weather website.

1) Click HERE to visit the school's weather website.

2) Follow the steps to access Forest Park's Weatherbug website.

3) We will look at the historic weather trends, tour the site, and complete various lessons and activities.

4) Spend any remaining time touring the site on your own.

Tour Builder

This week we will work with Google Earth and Tour Builder to learn how to map a tour, and build a presentation that shows location and information.

2) Learn the basic functions of Tour Builder in order to build a Tour/Presentation.

3) Work with your class topic to build a tour. Each class will have different content to map and information to research.
