This week we will explore communities in-detail through interactive mapping. We'll use an online mapping tool to make a map that locates and describes important places in a community.
1) Select a city anywhere in the U.S.
2) Brainstorm important places/buildings/institutions in any community.
3) Click HERE to access the online mapping tool.
4) Map at least three important locations and describe their significance to the community.
5) Click HERE to access a shared spreadsheet to paste the link to your map.
6) View and comment on your classmates' maps.
