This week we will access the various online programs we will be using this year. Students will receive their log-in information and will learn how to access, log-in and navigate each program.
We will start with Google Apps. This program requires users to change their password the first time they log-in. Log-in with the default password and change it to the one on the parent letter you will receive this week.
First, CLICK HERE to activate your account.
1) Click HERE to access Portland Public's Google Apps page.
2) Enter your username and change the default password to the one on your letter.
3) Once you have accessed your Google Drive, we will explore the various Apps, as well as how students will use Google Apps to complete schoolwork.
If there is time, we will access IXL and review how to access and use the program.
4) Click HERE to access IXL.
5) Enter your username and password (same as Google Apps).
6) Complete the skill(s) your teacher assigns in-class.
If there is time, we will access Typing Agent and complete a typing pre-test.
7) Click HERE to access Typing Pal.
8) Enter your username and password (same as Google Apps).
9) Select the Pre-Test under the Testing section.
